This Red Dirt Roadshow music revival will transform arenas into homegrown honky tonks when the Roadshow rolls into town. The Red Dirt Roadshow is hosted by true Red Dirt originals Stoney Larue and Cody Canada & the Departed – and they're bringing their friends.
For Stony LaRue, who has sold more than one million albums and singles in his career, fun means being on the road and playing live, tapping into a vast catalog that includes influential LPs like 2005's The Red Dirt Album, 2019's Onward, and his exhilarating 2007 live document Live at Billy Bob's Texas.
Cody Canada was the lead singer/songwriter of the Oklahoma-based alt-country band Cross Canadian Ragweed from its inception in 1998 to its dissolution in 2010. In that time, they sold over a million albums. Now with his blazing band, The Departed, Cody is returning to vintage Cross Canadian form with a newly energized inspiration to get back to his country-rock roots.
Americana Mavericks Micky and the Motorcars will be making the stops in Enid and Freedom, Oklahoma. Micky and Gary Braun are members of the seminal country music Braun Family and have been immersed in Americana since they can remember. The brothers started Micky and the Motorcars and have been road-dogging America and beyond for the last 17 years.
Texas-bred singer-songwriter Tanner Usrey will be opening the show in Monahans, Texas. Since beginning his career, Tanner's style has developed into a soulful, country-rock sound that has built him a strong following across streaming platforms. Tanner's song "The Light" featured in the Season 4 finale of Paramount Networks' hit TV show, Yellowstone.
Holly Beth, the hottest name on the Red Dirt festival circuit will open the show in Boerne, Texas. Nearly two years ago Holly left Oklahoma for the dream of moving to Texas with an open heart and an eager mind for what the future had in store for her. Over those two years, Holly would do things she never imagined she would do, and it’s just the beginning. With a total of over a million streams on Spotify alone, Holly Beth is on the path to something huge. She is already breaking records such as being the first-ever female to be the cover of Spotify’s ‘Texas Music Now” playlist and being the first female to break 100,000 streams on their debut single in the Texas Music Scene.
